Explore Numazu by Bike
A great way to see the city is by bike. Just rent one from Numazu Cycle Station Shizuura East, which is open every season and caters to customers of all ages. The most popular cycling route is a seaside course that takes you around the bay all the way over to Osezaki Cape, while offering wonderful views of Mt. Fuji and Suruga Bay. The route is around 18 km, takes about 70 minutes one way and is very manageable even for inexperienced cyclists.
Besides bike rentals, Numazu Cycle Station Shizuura East also operates a skills park for BMXs and skateboards. The park is free to use and open to both experienced enthusiasts and novices alike. Practice tricks or master the basics at your own pace.
